Q: What’s your favorite money-saving hack during the holidays

A: Find sites with free shipping—I absolutely hate paying for shipping, but really feel like I’ve won when I get a discount plus free shipping on gifts. For most stores, saving on shipping can mean saving $7 to $20 on a purchase.

Q: What’s the #1 item on your wish list?

A: A new Kate Spade Wallet—I’ve had a travel size for nearly 5 years but it’s completely worn!

A: Bargain hunting—I usually scour the web for the best deals and use tools like Ebates to get cash back. I love making money while getting gifts for my loved ones!

Q: What’s the #1 item on your wish list?

A: No big wish list items for me this year, though I wouldn’t turn down a cozy pair of Uggs. And, you better believe I told my husband about Purcado to do some price comparisons!

Q: What’s your favorite money-saving hack during the holidays?

A: This year, I actually used Qapital—it’s an app that let me set aside a Christmas budget throughout the year. As 2018 progressed, I saved about $10 to $15 per week. By the time the holidays arrived, I’d met my goal and wasn’t stressed about holiday shopping at all. I also create a spreadsheet with budgets for each person I’m giving to (and set aside unexpected gift amounts!). This allows me to set a Qapital goal, plus keeps me from overspending on one person.

Q: What’s the #1 item on your wish list?

A: Kitchen Aid mixer. Or, really any home and kitchen appliance. Since I’ve started adulting, these are the things that get me excited for presents!

Q: What’s your favorite money-saving hack during the holidays?

A: Plan. Plan. Plan! Seriously, plan out how much you want to spend, who you need to buy for, and shop accordingly. Following some sort of guideline has always kept me on a budget!

Q: What’s the #1 item on your wish list?

A: A new hard drive.  I’m a YouTuber, too, so I can never have enough hard drives and space for videos!

Q: What’s your favorite money-saving hack during the holidays?

A: I have two favorite hacks. First, I set a budget for each person before going shopping to stay on task. I also love to use apps like RetailMeNot to find great coupons. You can type in the name of the store you’re shopping and see if they have any extra coupons or discounts—I love that the app has all the prices and coupon codes in one place so you don’t have to go to the website of each store!

Q: What’s the #1 item on your wish list?

A: Other than a trip to Paris? *winks* I’d love a pair of Golden Goose Sneakers or a nice red trench coat.

Q: What’s your favorite money-saving hack during the holidays?

A: I love using Ebates! Ebates is a service that allows you to earn cash back when you shop at your favorite stores online and shares any coupons or deals that are available. Since I do most of my shopping online this is a great way for me to earn a little bit of my money back, especially since they typically do double cash back around the holidays!

Q: What’s the #1 item on your wish list this year?
A: I’ve been on the hunt for a good, classic, everyday black handbag. I have had my eye out on the Tory Burch Fleming Leather Convertible bag for a while now!

Q: What’s your favorite money-saving hack during the holidays?
A: I have two favorite shopping hacks for the holiday season. First and foremost, I make a budget and stick to it. Second, I start shopping early! Not only do I feel accomplished, but my bank account is also thankful because I try not to spend a huge chunk of money all in one day. Shopping early gives time to look around different stores for the best gifts and the best deals—in turn, spacing out your shopping can save money and help you stay under budget!

Q: What’s the #1 item on your wish list this year?
A: A luxe acrylic makeup organizer. I already got one for my mom; now, it’s my turn!

Q: What’s your favorite money-saving hack during the holidays?
A:
My favorite shopping hack is to wait. I know it sounds a little crazy, but everything that is full price in early November eventually goes on sale for Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and after. Sometimes, I even get items on my list for a better deal by waiting until closer to Christmas!

Q: What’s the #1 item on your wish list this year?
A: The number one item on my Christmas list this year is a pair of snow boots! I love shoes, but I don’t love splurging on super seasonal items so fingers crossed that Santa brings me some super cozy (and fashionable) snow boots!

12. Sarah Murphy

Q: What’s your favorite money-saving hack during the holidays?

A: I like to plan out and write down the gifts I’m giving so that I’m not overspending. For instance, if I already have an idea in mind for each person on my list, I’m doing the hard work upfront and won’t walk into a store and buy the first couple of things I see. I’ve done it in the past and spent twice as much that year!

Q: What’s the #1 item on your wish list this year?

A: Quality time with my family. But apart from that, I’m loving home accents — we just moved into our new house this year!

Q: What’s your favorite money-saving hack during the holidays?

A: Download Ebates! I’ve been using them since before I started blogging after a recommendation of a budget blogger I love! They have affiliate partnerships with most major retailers to give you money back via Paypal when you purchase products online. It sounds too good to be true, but it actually works! Another hack—split gift sets (like lip balms, lotions, etc.) up into individual gifts. You can break these up and make individual gift baskets to save money & give something unique!

Q: What’s the #1 item on your wish list this year?

A: An iPhone XS—fingers crossed!

Q: What’s your favorite money-saving hack during the holidays?

A: FIND THE SALES! I very rarely spend full price on an item. Once November and December arrive, almost every store has online sales and multiples sales over the course of those 2 months—even up to 50% off!

Q: What’s the #1 item on your wish list this year?

A: Linea Paolo Wedge Sneakers from Nordstrom—they are super trendy and come in so many colors!
